This can certainly be attributed to the somewhat deeper, nutrient-rich soil with good water supply, which has a rare characteristic: In addition to red slate rock, diabase, a hard volcanic rock, is also found here, which is usually mainly found in the world-famous Saarburger Rausch vineyard. The ripe grapes were harvested by hand and then gently pressed. Afterwards, the must was allowed to sediment overnight before the clear must was transferred to a traditional Mosel Fuder barrel for fermentation the next morning.
