The deep, red slate soils ensure reliable ripening of the grapes. 2024 was a major challenge for Pinot Noir, as the early-ripening grapes were still fully exposed to the wet, cold weather at the end of August. When the harvest in September became dry and sunny, the skins of the berries were already very thin and began to burst. Stefan Müller had actually planned to harvest a week later. But when he stopped in the vineyard on his way home on Friday evening out of curiosity and saw the first signs of rot, there was no time to lose. That same evening, half the family was mobilized and the unusable grapes were rigorously cut away. On Monday, the perfectly healthy grapes were already harvested – to the astonishment of the neighboring winemakers. But this tactic would pay off, because this Pinot Noir rosé is truly impressive:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eOn the nose, a delicate aroma of red berries unfolds, such as sweet cherry, red-cheeked apples, raspberry and a hint of hawthorn. On the palate, the wine presents itself wonderfully invigorating, with refreshing acidity - the Burgundy has not undergone biological acid reduction (BAR) as usual - fine melt, grip and fruity-mineral aftertaste.
