About the wine

"The 2024er Riesling Butterfly is an off-dry wine made from fruit harvested in the upper part of the Saarburger Rausch and the Ockfener Bockstein. It offers an attractive fresh and herbal nose of greengage, pear, cinnamon, yellow peach, spicy, white pepper, and smoke. The wine nicely juicy and creamy on the palate, with good grip and intensity. The finish is fresh, as zesty elements come through, and leaves an almost dryish feel. This more serious version of Butterfly superbly combines intensity and lightness and is a real pleasure to drink. 2026-2034" 90P

Should the wine arrive damaged upon delivery, please contact us immediately. We will clarify the damage with UPS and either arrange a replacement delivery for you or issue you a credit.

If your delivery contains the wrong wine, please contact us directly. Please let us know which wine is missing and which one was delivered instead. We will then arrange for the correct wine to be sent and discuss with you whether you would like to return the incorrect bottle or keep it, for which we will gladly make you an offer.

The clear crystals in your wine are tartrate crystals. These crystals form through the crystallization of potassium bitartrate, a natural component of wine that can form during the aging process. Tartrate crystals are completely harmless and do not affect the taste or quality of the wine. You can simply let the crystals settle and pour carefully, or remove them by decanting.
