SAARKIND – Exciting wines from the innovative young winemakers' association of the Saar!

Saarkind is a community of 11 young Saar winemakers, founded in 2017. Their common goal is to preserve the values of our region through sustainable actions and the protection of nature. With the motto "together, sustainable, enduring," they focus on cooperation and the preservation of wine tradition. In contrast to previous generations, who often acted as individual fighters, the "Saarkinder" have joined forces to create something together. They organize the wine festival "Klang und Glanz," which appeals to young people through modern music and an attractive design. Through festivals, events, and markets, they advocate for local, sustainable products, art, and culture, thereby strengthening our region. It's no surprise that some of our most exciting wineries are among the Saarkinder.
